4-H Working Together For Others
Michele Kramp and Steve Arnold promote 4-H with The Ability Center of Greater Toledo recently at the Toledo Zoo. This partnership is assisting 4-H with the mission of The Abilitiy Center. ”Our mission is to assist people with disabilities to live, work and socialize within a fully accessible community. We accomplish this mission through our Strategic Plan by providing a variety of services, including Five Core Services: Information and Referral, Advocacy, Independent Living Skills Training, Peer Support and Community Living.” We look forward to working together in 2012 at 4-H Camp Palmer.

The Wood County 4-H Quilters gave 52 quilts to the Neo Natal Unit at St. V’s Hospital last week. Nurse Angie Weston came to the Extension Office and talked about the unit and the difference 4-H is making to her patients.
