4-H CARTEENS
The Wood County 4-H CARTEENS training night took place on Wednesday, November 11th at the Extension Office. Adult Volunteers trained our 4-H members in each session of the program. Topics included speeding, Ohio traffic laws and driving distractions. Participants also learned the dangers of driving while impaired by using the fatal vision goggles. 4-H members and volunteers are looking forward to helping teens become safer drivers and assisting them in making smart decisions when they are behind the wheel.

Memories of Summer…
It’s hard to believe November will be here on Sunday. Currently we are planning our Walk Across Wood County, the Advisor/Donor Banquet, Carteens and visiting many classrooms in the next few weeks. I thought it would be fun to post a few pictures of summer to warm things up a bit in the fall air.
